Hansei Log Book
Hansei is a self exploration exercise that never ends. You don’t do it for only a week and then draw conclusions. You do it every day, for the rest of your life. You do it to identify areas in your life you can improve on – analysing what went wrong and how to do it better next time. Like Monkey Brain did, keep a log book – but make sure you fill it with honest observations about what you did wrong, and what you can do better. You do this not in an attempt to become flawless (you are human, you never can be perfect), you do it to become a better human being and a more successful individual. If you never find you did something wrong, or that you could do it better – then look harder. Don’t be a Monkey Brain.
You keep honing that knife, your life skills, until the day you die – that knife can never become sharp enough.
