Hansei Kai – reflecting upon mistakes
Life can only be understood backwards, but must be lived forwards. Hansei is a Japanese concept that, loosely translated, means “self-reflection” – looking back to examine your life and your actions that has led you to this particular point, good or bad. Take a bit of time each day for a Hansei Kai, a self reflection session, specifically looking at mistakes in an honest manner, to see what could have been done differently for a better outcome – to make sure that next time it’s done better. Always striving to make better choices and decisions. Don’t be hard on yourself though – but make sure you learn lessons from mistakes, then move on and don’t make them again.
Good luck!
