Cape Town could be the first metropolitan area to totally run out of water, a microcosm of what we are now facing as a human race on the planet. 2 August 2017 marked the date when we officially hit ”Earth Overshoot Day” – we consume more than the Earth can replace. Current consumption in the US is about 7 planets. Wake up call? I think so…
