OK, here’s the crazy scenario: we are living in a virtual reality game, like some people claim, and assuming we are artificially intelligent players in the game – then the ancient Buddhist concept of Karma would be the equivalent of A.I at work as an algorithm in the computer program we live inside – designed for us to learn (and suffer) from past mistakes, in order to grow into more sophisticated players :)
