Monkey Brain On Cocaine 2.0.
The Donald Trump Edition – How to Kill The Monkey inside His Head?
Monkey Brain, or Monkey Mind, comes from Chinese xinyuan and Sino-Japanese shin’en 心猿 and its literal meaning is “heart-/mind-monkey”. It’s a Buddhist term and means, “unsettled; restless; capricious; whimsical; fanciful; inconstant; confused; indecisive; uncontrollable”. We use it to express the uncontrollable and incessant stream of thoughts in our heads. At some point in the history of humanity we lost the ability to control our thinking and to control our minds. And in todays fast-paced modern societies our minds are even more restless, unsettled and confused. The Monkey Brain has taken an evolutionary leap and has now become: “Monkey Brain on Cocaine” – a mind spinning even worse out of control than when Buddha was chilling under the Bodhi Tree.
We need to take back control of our minds, of our lives and of our destinies. Monkey Brain on Cocaine, a mind that seems to have a life of its own, is the barrier – and needs to be removed.
